The story of C O M B is the story of most of the cosmopolitan family. Everyone knows that working moms have 2 jobs. A career and a family. Little do we know how tough the second job is.

Mom’s getting ready for work. She has to leave the house by 7. As usual, she woke up earlier than everyone else, to get a few things done around the house, wake the kids up, get a workout in. She switches on the lights and geysers around the house, and finally makes herself a cup of coffee. After all this, she sits down on her laptop to get some work done.

While leaving, the husband looks at her and says,

“Darling, can we take care of the electricity bill?”

Moms like,

“Have you seen the electricity bill?”

The husband gives a worried look.

She looks at him and says, “Later.”

Then looks at her watch, and notices that it’s getting late, so she gets up to leave.

Mom shuts down her laptop and grabs the car keys, Hardly does she reach the door, when she sees a fan on in the living room. She switches it off. Then notices a light in the adjacent room, rolls her eyes, and goes to switch that off. She hears the fan in her son’s room and goes to switch that off. She turns around to see that the air conditioner’s on, the bathroom lights are on, the geyser’s beeping.

She rushes around the house frantically, switching off every appliance left on.

By the end of it, She’s late for work now.

Exhausted, she picks up the phone, messages,

“I’m coming in late today,”

The reply reads,

“AGAIN!!”

She replies,

“Morning routines 🙂”
