[Video] How To Make ‘Catch The Bug’ Game in Scratch
Scratch is a popular block-based visual programming language platform. It teaches kids the basics of coding. Children below ten years find it difficult to understand the complexities of a programming language. Scratch solves this by introducing colorful imagery and easy coding methods.
In the following video, our instructor is teaching kids the basics of coding and how to create a Catch the Bug game in Scratch. Here, the kids are learning to code through the blockchain coding method. If their coding contains some visual representation, then there is a display provided to help them visualize the things they code for.
As we see, the kids learn to code for the ‘Catch The Bug’ game, which requires them to regulate the movements and feel of the characters, and they are doing it using simple coding blocks provided by Scratch. As we proceed further with the instructions, eventually, kids create a whole new game using these coding blocks.
The idea is to make learning fun for children.
We at Moonpreneur simplify learning for children to help them learn faster and better by providing them with experiential learning through platforms like Scratch. For more insight into our game development courses and methodologies of teaching, book a free workshop.
